  1. How do I download the free trial version of the program?


    A: Downloading CheckBook v4.0 is easy. Simply go to the Download page on this site. Click the link in the center of the page, and when your browser asks if you want to save this file to disk, answer yes, and specify a location to save the file to (saving it to your Desktop will allow you to find it easily). This file is the CheckBook v4.0 setup program, which will install CheckBook v4.0 on your computer. After the download is complete, double-click on the file's icon to install it.

  4. Can I use the program for more than 30 days?


    A: The trial version of CheckBook v4.0 will only operate for 30 days. After 30 days, the program will become disabled, and you will need to purchase a Registration Code to continue using the program. Using the program for more than 30 days without registering is a violation of the CheckBook v4.0 license agreement, which can be found in the accompanying help file.

    A: Yes, CheckBook v4.0 is fully supported under Windows Vista.



Registering CheckBook v4.0

  1. What is registering?


    A: Registering is analagous to purchasing CheckBook v4.0. However, instead of buying a product, you are buying a Registration Code to unlock the product. The trial version of CheckBook v4.0 is available to anyone for downloading from this site. Your Registration Code 'unlocks' the trial version of CheckBook v4.0 and converts it to registered mode. In this way we can allow customers to try out the program before they buy it, without making them go through another long download once they decide to keep it.


  2. What is SWReg?


    A: SWReg is an online company that processes orders for many companies. SWReg takes our orders for CheckBook v4.0 safely and securely, so you can feel confident ordering online. They take all of your order information and accept your payment, and then pass the order along to us.   5. Why is the program telling me my Registration Information is incorrect?


    A: After you receive your Registration Code, you must enter it into the program by clicking 'Register' under the 'Help' menu in the program. You must enter your name, company, email address, and Registration Code. You must type all of this information exactly as you received them in your registration email from us. It will list your registration name, company, email address, and code. When entering the information, pay attention to spacing, capitalization, and punctuation. 95% of the time, if the program says your registration information is incorrect, it is because it was not typed in exactly right. Also, if any one of the fields says 'none' in your registration email, you must type 'none' into the program.

  1. I lost everything on my hard drive. How do I get CheckBook v4.0 back?


    A: To get the program back, first download it again from the Download page of this site. Then, if you have your Registration Code, all you need to do is type it into the program. If you do not have it saved anywhere, please go to our Support page and email us about the problem. Be sure to include your name, company, email address, and approximate order date, and we will be happy to send you your Registration Code.

  3. I registered a previous version of CheckBook. How do I get my free upgrade?


    A: First you will need to download the trial version and install it onto your computer. After the installation is successfully completed, you can uninstall the old version of CheckBook by going to 'Add/Remove Programs' in your Windows Control Panel. Then go to our Support page and email us with your name, company, email address, and the approximate order date of your old order. Also indicate which version of CheckBook you are currently using. We will send you a new Registration Code for CheckBook v4.0, usually within 24 hours.
